Small-group Acro Classes
(60-90 min)
Experience the magic of partner acrobatics!
Small-group classes blend strength, balance and trust in a dynamic practice accessible to all. Working in groups of three—Base, Flyer, and Spotter—you'll learn stable entries, smooth transitions, and build up to group poses and flowing sequences called "washing-machines". Creativity and experimentation are at the heart of every session. Our aim is to have you feeling challenged yet supported.
Why not grab some friends and take flight?

With 25+ years of coaching experience, Abbey brings expert guidance to your inversion journey. Her sharp eye and attention to detail crafts the scaffolding of confidence — so you can balance anywhere, anytime.

New to Acro?
Before joining a jam or class, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with our Community Values and the International Acro Code of Conduct. This includes information about what to wear, what to expect, and how to practice safely.
What is AcroYoga?
AcroYoga is form of partner movement that blends dance and yoga into a creative, accessible movement practice. You do not need a partner to do AcroYoga, because we work in groups of 3-4 with a base, a flyer, and a spotter.
Styles of Acro Yoga
Not all AcroYoga is the same. Teachers and practitioners can have on different styles and approaches. You may see people working on skills lower to the ground, like L-basing and belly-basing, or skills higher off the ground, like standing acro & dance-lifts. There are also dynamic moves like pops and whips and more advanced releases like in cheerleading. When joining a class or jam, self-assessment is key. Know your level. Ask for a spot. And don't practice above your level.
Community Safety
Acro comes with risks. Falling is a part of all acrobatic practices, and it can be fun when done safety, with the right equipment and environment. We aim to minimize risks by following a set of community guidelines and AcroYoga codes of conduct. You can find these on my resources page - a must-read for anyone thinking of starting their AcroYoga journey.
